- Located in Saudi Arabia, which is the country which largely depends on its crude oil exportation holding a quarter of the world's oil reserves.
- Architect for Jeddah tower is Adrian Smith, who was also the architect of present tallest building Burj khalifa.
- Highest Observation Deck is one of the fascinating feature of the building, in which vertical locomotion will be provided by 59 elevators (5 of them are double-deck) and 12 escalators.
- Structural Engineer - Thornton Tomasetti has provided the structural engineering for two of the previous world's tallest building title holders, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and the Taipei 101 in Taiwan, as well as the under construction Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen, which will be the tallest building in China after completion.
- Sky Terrace, which is a 30 m diameter outdoor balcony which is not the observation deck. It was intended to serve as Helipad but it will be kept for private use due to the unsuitable helicopter landing environment.
- Smooth, sloped-exterior design unlike the stepped design ( Burj khalifa ) offers superior aerodynamic performance allowing it to have a more conservative core overall.
- January 1 2016, the building stands over 115 m tall at the 31st floor. Estimated year of completion is 2020.
- Creator and leader of the project is Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, the wealthiest man in the Middle East. Al-Waleed is the chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) [15] which is a partner in Jeddah Economic Company (JEC), which was formed in 2009 for the development of Jeddah Tower and City.
- Materials required for the construction of this giant structure are : 500,000 cu.m of Concrete, 80, 000 t of Steel . The building will weigh over 900,000 tonnes.
